HURIX’S CREATIVE RECIPE VIDEO CHALLENGE
- FEATURING HURIX’S FOOD PRODUCTS

Terms & Conditions

  1. HURIX’S Creative Recipe Video Challenge is organised by Jin Bin Corporation Sdn Bhd (389044-M) [“The Organiser”] and is open to all Malaysian residents with a valid MyKad. Those under age of 18 must obtain consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  2. Employees of the Organiser [including associated and related companies] and their immediate family members [children, parents, siblings, including spouses] are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
  3. This contest split into two stages:
    Submission stage - 16/10/2022 00:00:00 – 15/01/2023 23:59:59 (3 months)
    Voting stage –     16/01/2023 09:00:00 – 31/01/2023 23:59:59  (16 days)
     
  4. The Organiser shall reserve the right to amend the Submission or Voting Period at any time without prior notice. All submissions received after the Submission period will not be entertained.
  5. Steps to join:
    (a) Use HURIX’S Food Products (any of the below listed products) to create a recipe.
    - HURIX’S Chengmai Honey
    - HURIX’S Royal Flora Honey
    - HURIX’S Oligo Honey Gold
    - HURIX’S Oligo Honey Classic
    - HURIX’S Oligo Stevia
    - HURIX’S Glukusking Series

    (b) Film yourself preparing and cooking the recipe (can be dessert/ cake/ dish/ beverages etc).
    - Video must feature yourself, or a family member(s) cooking a dish (you or your family member(s) must be in the video),
    - using products (5a) as one of the ingredients (the product used must be clearly shown in the video)
    (C) Contestants are required to submit the below details to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. within the submission period :
       i. Full Name, FB Name, Contact Number, Mailing Address, Email Address
       ii. The list of ingredients used
       iii. 3 photos of completed dish
       iv. Video as required in (5a) and (5b)
    (Each contestant is allowed to submit multiple videos but only eligible for 1 prize)
    - Video length: min. 50 seconds, max. 3 mins
    - Video size: max. 300mb
    - Video format: mp4 or mov
    - Recommended width and height for videos as below:


    - You may use online tool eg. wetransfer, dropbox or google drive to share the file.
         v. The Organiser will post all the videos to HURIX’S FB page (http://fb.com/hurixsjb) on 16th January 2023. Share your video from HURIX’S post to friends and relatives to gain “LIKES”.
             Results based on video “LIKE”, the most “Like” win (refer to video posted at HURIX’S page)
             - You may tag them and share the video, try your best to gain most LIKEs
             - “Likes” will count from 16/01/2023 09:00:00 – 31/01/2023 23:59:59
  6. All submitted videos:
    - Must be the original work of the contestant and never use the same video to join any contest.
    - Content must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property, or other rights of any person or entity;
    - Content must not be sexually explicit or suggestive, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional, or age group, profane or pornographic, or contain nudity;
    - Content must not promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message;
    - Content must not be obscene or offensive, endorse any form of hate or hate group;
    - Content must not defame, misrepresent, or contain disparaging remarks about other people or companies;
    - Excepting that of the Organiser, content cannot contain trademarks, logos, or trade dress (such as distinctive packaging or building exteriors/interiors) owned by others, or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind, without permission
  7. List of Winners will be announced on Organiser’s official website and facebook within one [1] week after the contest end.

  9. Visual of the Prizes shown in any advertisement, promotional publicity and other materials relating to this Contest are solely for illustration purposes only and may not depict the actual colour of the Prizes.
  10. Prizes are provided by a third party, and the Organizer does not guarantee the quality of the prize, and does not make any guarantee or commitment to the prize.
  11. All winners will be contacted via phone calls on best effort basis with maximum of three [3] attempts. In the event that winner is not contactable after the 3rd call attempt, and no reply within 1 week, prize will be forfeited.
  12. The Organiser shall reserve the right at its absolute discretion to substitute the prize with that of similar value, at any time without prior notice. The prize is non-transferable and all prizes are given on an “as is” basis and are not exchangeable for credit and other items or voucher in part or in full and not returnable.
  13. All contestants must abide by the terms and conditions of the party[ies] arranging and/or providing for the prize and the terms and conditions attached to the prize if any. Prizes which are lost and/or damaged during the delivery process are not replaceable and the Organiser disclaims any and all liabilities arising therefrom and the obligations to replace the lost and/or damaged prizes.
  14. The Organiser’s decisions are final and no correspondence thereafter will be entertained.
  15. All prizes must be claimed within three [3] months from the date of announcement of winners. All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
  16. All transportation, accommodation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred to participate in the Contest and to redeem the Prize is the sole responsibility of the Winners.
  17. Winners who are below age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent/ legal guardian during prize claim.
  18. All contestants agree and acknowledge that all intellectual property rights thereto shall belong to the Organiser and each contestant consents to the collection, use, processing and/or disclosure by the Organiser any and all of the contestant’s personal information including without limitation the contestant’s name, submitted video, photograph or image for purposes of the Contests, including advertising, publicity, marketing and promotional activities conducted in such manner as the Organiser sees fit, in any media and without additional compensation, notification or permission, and any other activities that are ancillary to the Contest. Contestants shall not be entitled to claim ownership and/or other forms of compensation on the materials.
  19. The Organiser may also use your personal information for purposes of contacting and sending to you marketing and promotional information or materials about our products, services, any promotions, events or contests organised by the Organiser.
  20. Winner that requires a representative to claim the prize on their behalf, the representative has to bring along signed copy of authorization letter and photocopy of winner’s MyKad.
  21. In the event that you agree to share and disclose personal information of the representative, you acknowledge that you have obtained the consent of that person to share and disclose his/her personal information to us and to being contacted by us.
  22. The Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any contestant that is found or suspected of tampering with the Contest submission process or the operation of the Contest and the Organiser reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to the Contest.
  23. The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Contest in the event it becomes not possible for the Organiser to run the Contest as planned including but not limited to unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Organiser, despite the best efforts of the Organiser.
  24. Contestants are highly advised to visit the Organisers’ website hurixs.com.my from time to time to ensure that the contestants are aware of any updates and changes made.
  25. By participating in the Contest, contestants agree to be bound by the Contest Rules and Regulations, and the decisions of the Organiser.
